Write for us
Active Fitness Journal welcomes well-focused proposals about recreational fitness, movement skills, exercise formats, equipment choices, habits and fitness culture. We want useful explanations, not claims that a routine guarantees results or advice tailored to an individual reader.
What makes a strong pitch
Name the reader's question, the central idea and why the subject deserves a clear explanation. Show how your approach differs from familiar fitness slogans, identify any claims that need careful support and explain the practical boundaries of the piece. A proposed comparison should make its trade-offs explicit rather than declare one option best for everyone.
What to send
Use the Contact page to send your proposal. Include a working title, a short outline, the intended reader and a note about relevant experience or potential conflicts of interest. Please do not send a full manuscript unless requested; proposals are considered for fit, clarity and usefulness, without a promise of publication.
Movement deserves a clear-eyed look
Fitness advice often makes ordinary choices sound like tests of character. We separate the activity from the sales pitch and examine the trade-offs.
